2014-02-22 Travel: Laguna Bacalar to Tulum

We were tired of ruins and looking forward to the beach in Tulum but once we arrived at the Hip hotel (nice place!) after a rather short drive from Laguna Bacalar, we only spent a few hours on the beach and then decided to visit the Tulum ruins an hour before the entrance was closed. It was not as crowded as we expected and actually quite nice. Returned our car and spent two more lazy days on the beach before flying home via Cancun.
