Today's morning session took place at and around the ruins of a once surely beautiful villa in the middle of a cactus plantation between the village of Mala and the sea.
On the island of Lanzarote and espacially close to Mala there still are a few places where they grow the indian fig opuntia and use it as a host plant to farm Cochineal lice to produce crimson dye.

In the afternoon we drove across the island to the famous Playa de Famara, also known as Surfer's Paradise and "the mirror beach". The idea was to shoot some beach images in the mellow afternoon light and finally the models plus their mirror image during sunset.

This morning we got up real early to take some pictures of our models at the Playa de la Garita - the beautiful sandy bay next to Arrieta. We met at short past six, half an hour before sunrise and still rather cool but the sky was already glorious and the water calm.

On May 5th we departed from Munich to meet with Stefan Gesell and a group of fellow photographers for a model sharing event to take fashon, erotic and nude images of 5 beautiful and talented ladies on the beautiful island of Lanzarote. We were based on the southeastern coast of the island in a small village called Arrieta.
The first session took place on May 6th at a location we dubbed the Miniature Monument Valley. It is to the left and right of the road from Guatiza to Teguise.

Tom and me shot some images during sunset and twilight at Munich's Olympic Park and later on at the BMW world. Some images are HDRs but iI also played a bit with the Live Comnposite feature of my E-M1, using it to smooth clouds and water without blowing highlights.

Meeting with some fellow photographers of the German Systemkameraforum (SKF) at the Munich Hofgarten. I had lots of fun playing with camera gimmicks of my E-PL7 like double exposure, zoom wipes, color creator, life composite ... have a look at the pictures and you know what i mean.

Tom and i finally managed to drive to Buchscharn at the south-eastern shore of Lake Starnberg to take some images of the unbelievable sunsets we've had for the last couple of days. We were lucky to catch the weiredest of them all with incredible colours and light.
